Gaining Dragon XP
We all want strong dragons, but how do you get your newly bred baby dragon up to speed as fast as possible? Well, basically you just need to fly (a lot!) to gain experience points. This can be a time-consuming business but there are ways to speed up the process. We got some Dragon XP tips for you!
Understand how Experience points work
In order to level up your dragon, it will need a certain amount of xp. These experience points can be earned by flying with your dragon. When succesfully attacking a base with only one of your own dragons, this dragon will get the full load of xp. When you use 2 of your own dragons, the xp will be divided between the two of them. Having a teammate to finish the attack will still give you the full xp for the dragon you used, plus your teammate will get xp for theirs!
There is a maximum amount of xp depending on your player level. You can easily find out what your max xp is by going to the attack screen and srolling all the way down. You will see some bases that the game marks as “challenging”. Compare the amount of xp that can be earned from these bases, the highest one will be your maximum. Always try to attack a base that gives you the maximum amount of xp.
Use a good XP farm
So you know what your maximum xp is, now it’s time to find a good base to attack. “Farm” bases were built especially for gaining xp. There are several xp farms out there, you just need to find the one that suits you. We have listed some of our favorites below. To attack one of these bases, go to the team hall, search for the team they are in and attack from there. Or, send a in-game message to the player and attack from your sent message. Don’t forget to bookmark the base if you liked it!
|XPxGhost||51||XPfarmsLooseX1||Long base / level 7-20 buildings|
|DracosIV||61||MyXPfarm||Long base / level 14-17 buildings|
|NotxAxFarm||86||XPfarmsLooseX1||Long base / mostly level 1, and few level 23 buildings|
|HaloXP||98||XPfarmsLooseX1||Long base / level 10-26 buildings|
|Farm4Exp||191||EXPFARMS4YOU||Long base / level 10-27 buildings|
|Freexp299||273||-||Long base / level21-48 buildings|
Daily XP multipliers
Every day, your dragons will “magically” receive a xp multiplier. This gives you 5 times the dragon xp on the first flight, 4 times the xp on the second flight and 3 times the xp on the third flight. You will see the X5/X4/X3 star on your dragons in your dragon roster. Try to find a base that gives you maximum xp, and ask a teammate to back you up so your dragon gains a massive amount of xp!
XP boosts and wisdom runes
XP boosts are available throughout the game. You can get them from chests during events, or buy them with your precious rubies. These boosts can be equiped on your dragon before flying out and you can find them amongst your spells. You can also consider equipping a “Wisdom Rune”. This rune will increase the xp earned by a few percent on every run. Think carefully before you equip a rune though… You will not be able to put them on another dragon.
Get a Elite Account
If you have some spare bucks on your bank account, consider spending them on a Elite Account. This will give you a 75% xp bonus every time you fly your dragons. It also comes with some other perks like upgrading 2 buildings at once, 50% more recourses from farms and mills and double the egg tokens from egg missions.
Last but not least… Fly with your teammates
Most of you already know this, but when you join your teammates attacks and use a dragon to finish off the base, you will earn some xp for your dragon too. This is why you should ALWAYS join your teammates and ALWAYS press the invite button when you fly out. Backing eachother up will also result in only having to use one dragon. See how important it is to have a great team around you?
